“She’s not here to promote anything. She’s here out of love,” said Jimmy Kimmel introducing his pal Jennifer Aniston to his Tuesday show, which debuted in a new, earlier, 11:35 p.m. time slot.
Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Jennifer Aniston dropped by “Chelsea Lately” in Los Angeles last night (October 15).
The “Horrible Bosses” babe instantly teared up when host Chelsea Handler brought up her engagement to Justin Theroux.
Jen squeaked out, “I just got verklempt,” as she tried to keep her composure, before challenging Chelsea to follow in her example.
Recalling that Handler had stolen her chiropractor and yoga instructor, Aniston teased that Chelsea might as well copy her betrothal. “That would be a good thing to do. Make an honest woman out of you!” said Jennifer.
The Beatles must be proud.
In “Hey St. Jude,” a new video for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Jennifer Aniston, Jon Hamm, Keith Urban, Michael Strahan, Lady Antebellum and a slew of celebrities team up with the patients, nurses, doctors and staff to sing their version of the Paul McCartney’s 1968 Beatles’ classic, “Hey Jude.”
Also lending their vocal talent to the clip? Jordin Sparks, Kellie Pickler, Darius Rucker, Randy Owen, Betty White, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen DeGeneres and Shaun White.

Newly engaged actress Jennifer Aniston is constantly followed by the media but it looks like she has kept a few “secrets” out of the public. Did you know Jennifer wears wigs, is expecting triplets, and has an adult son which happens to be talk show host Jimmy Kimmel? Neither did we! The “Wanderlust” actress shows off her sense of humor in a new video ad for bottled water brand Smartwater, where she jokes about all the rumors spread about her. The advertisement begins with Ryan Seacrest stating he has “breaking news” on Aniston’s leaked home security tapes.
“From inside the actress’s home, shocking revelations,” Seacrest stated. The commercial shows fake security tapes of Jennifer Aniston as she leaves her house in a shiny new car that she crashes while trying to back up. “I forgot my Smartwater!” she said as she runs past her assistant, whose name she can’t seem to get straight. Once inside, the 41-year-old actress removes a large velcro band from her belly, revealing a huge baby bump.
“How are my little triplets doing? You must be so thirsty,” she says to her belly as she gulps down the Smartwater. Aniston has a “workout” and then proceeds to go out to her pool that is being filled with Smartwater. Jimmy Kimmel is shown with arm floaties as he runs out to ask his “mom” if he can swim.
“Honey, please be a good boy and go upstairs and take a nap,” Aniston begs Kimmel. “Please don’t cry and if you’re a good boy I’ll play hide and seek with you later!” But Kimmel pouts and says, “You always make me hide. I think you’re ashamed of me!” Kimmel begins to cry and then Aniston takes him inside with his “little brother,” an alien with an inner tube around its waist. After her tiring day, Aniston brushes her teeth and says, “Good night, Rachel,” to herself in the mirror before removing her wig from her head and placing it on a cabinet next to several others.
“What is that? Is that a light on? Is that recording?” she says as she pretends to finally notice a camera is recording her every move.
The Smartwater logo then comes on-screen, along with their tagline: “Even more refreshing than the truth.”
Right on time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, these starlets discuss a big project in the October issue.
Glamour magazine boasts a superstar-packed cover for their October 2011 issue with Alicia Keys (in a T-shirt by Alexander Wang and J Brand jeans), Jennifer Aniston (in a Splendid tank and Hudson jeans) and Demi Moore (in a 180 by Jean Yu tank and Levi’s jeans). Each star appears fresh-faced while sharing a group hug.
The lovely and talented ladies came together to dish about a new project they’re involved with called Five,a series of short films about women fighting breast cancer. Each cover star directed one of the films, which will be woven together and aired on Lifetime during a two-hour block on October 10 (right on time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month).
Aniston, who’s an executive producer and a big force behind Five, directed Mia, a film about a woman who initially thinks her diagnosis is a death sentence. The group was “intrigued by the challenge of creating short stories that would defy audiences’ expectations of the subject,” said Aniston. “We wanted the balance of drama with humor and irreverence … we wanted stories that were informative without being heavy-handed. Oh, and they needed to be brilliantly written.”
Other stories in the series include the Moore-directed film Charlotte, in which a little girl watches her mother die of breast cancer and becomes determined to help others with the disease. Keys, a new mother to son Egypt, directed Lili, a film about a 35-year-old woman who develops breast cancer and is forced to deal with her relationship with her mother. “After I read the scripts, I felt like this was something important, and I wanted to be a part of it,” the singer told the magazine. “I chose Lili because she’s close to my age and I understood the family dynamic. I had an immediate idea of what I could bring to it.”
In addition to the Five project, the starlets each dish on what’s going on in their personal lives — from relationships, to babies, to dispelling rumors — but we love that they spent most of the conversation promoting this important topic!
It was a moment in history where Jennifer Aniston took a stand. She was going to be a brunette. And there was nothing anyone could say or do about it.
“We had this wonderful period of time I do call Hair Gate,” says the woman who invented “the Rachel” long ago. “The studio didn’t want me to wear a wig. I was told, ‘No one will know who you are.’ I said, ‘They will know my name from the credits.’ ”
On this particular morning, her hair is that trademark streaky blonde, falling perfectly a few inches past her chin. Hair Gate happened when Aniston did the unthinkable and vowed to go brown in her new film “Horrible Bosses,” where she plays a dentist who sexually harasses her assistant (Charlie Day).
“I’m the one who insisted on the dark hair,” Aniston says. “I was doing a movie right before this and one after that had me looking more like me, and I knew this character had to be different.”
The studio balked at a brown wig with a row of bangs.
“There was just no way I could be saying those words and not look somewhat different,” says Aniston.
When she lost her regular self in the mirror, “I just felt such a freedom,” she insists. But she wasn’t that free. Aniston is happy to clear up a rumor that she does a topless scene in “Horrible Bosses.” The raciest moment is a mostly discreet scene in an open medical jacket with no shirt and bra underneath.
“I have idea where those rumors started, but it’s a good rumor,” Aniston says with a twinkle in her eye. What about the rumor that the secret topless scene will appear in the DVD? “Not true at all,” she says with a giggle. “Where do these things start?”
