Jennifer Aniston plays a plain and simple woman in her dramatic new movie Cake.
The 45-year-old actress decided to lighten things up a little as she headed to Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles on Monday.
Jennifer was a breathy sight indeed, wearing a loosely fitting blouse with full, elbow-length sleeves and featuring a delicate foliage pattern. She matched the billowy top with classic-cut black trousers, a studded black belt and high heels, while a cobalt-blue handbag heightened the appeal.
Of course the star famous for her thick, voluminous tresses was perfectly coiffed.
Jennifer looked like she’d just stepped out of a hair salon with those slightly curled, layered locks that framed her face and seemed to bounce with each step.

He scored big with Mila Kunis during her press tour for “Oz: The Great and Powerful,” but reporter Chris Stark didn’t have quite the same luck while chatting with Jennifer Aniston.
The lovable BBC personality conducted an interview with the “Friends” actress about her new flick “Horrible Bosses 2” and it turned out that his boss Scott Mills set him up to be royally humiliated.
When Chris asked Jennifer about how she “makes the first move” with a guy, Aniston immediately became tense and declared the query to be “inappropriate.”
And after a few more moments of discomfort, Mills came in to let Stark know that he’d been had. Check the clip!
Never one to take herself too seriously, Jennifer Aniston played a silly prank during her appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this week.
The “Horrible Bosses 2” star put on an inflatable bra before her interview and at one point her chest began growing ever so rapidly.
Aniston and DeGeneres played a game called “Last Word” in which they both took turns shouting out word substitutes for curse terms.
And by the end of the segment, Jennifer was many times her usual bust size. She joked, “This is my version of the [Kim Kardashian], but the forward one.”
Debuting her highly anticipated performance, Jennifer Aniston brought the trailer for “Cake” to “Good Morning America” on Tuesday (November 25).
In the film, the “Friends” beauty portrays Claire Simmons, a woman struggling with pain and the death of her fellow support group member, Nina (portrayed by Anna Kendrick).
The 45-year-old actress is receiving plenty of award buzz for the leading role – in which she completely transforms herself both physically and emotionally.
“Cake” also stars Sam Worthington, Chris Messina, Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy and Adriana Barraza. It’s scheduled to hit the big screen early next year.

Kicking off the week with some media duties, Jennifer Aniston paid a visit to “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to plug her new flick “Horrible Bosses 2.”
And after chatting with Kimmel for a bit, the “Rumor Has It” babe found herself in the middle of “Celebrity Curse Off” with her former costar Lisa Kudrow.
Jimmy explained, “We are known for bleeping and blurring things unnecessarily, but tonight the bleeping will be necessary, quite necessary.”
“If you are faint of heart, I’d like you to cover your ears because it’s time, once again, for America’s most foul-mouthed competition ‘Celebrity Curse-Off.’”
Before the final curtain, Jen and Lisa used terms like “d*ck licker,” “c*cksucker” and plenty of s-and-f-bombs.
She gained momentous success thanks to her role on “Friends,” and Lisa Kudrow is gearing up for the reboot of her HBO series “The Comeback,” a mockumentary about D-list actress Valerie Cherish who agrees to do a reality show.
Lisa’s show was canceled after only one season in 2005, and thanks to loyal fans – it’s heading back to the premium network. Now the comedic actress is promoting her series with a feature in Glamour magazine’s December 2014 issue.
DO MAKE YOUR FRIENDS A PRIORITY
“[Courteney, Jennifer,] and I—we’ve known each other for over 20 years. We had lunch together every day for 10 years, and it just mostly feels like, Well, that wasn’t enough time at all; I want more, please. When we get together for a dinner now, it feels like, Ahhh. There is a bond that is there forever.”
Jennifer Aniston participated in The L.A. Times ‘The Envelope’ 2014 Oscar Round Table conversation. On The L.A. Times website, you can read edited excerpts from the free-flowing conversation moderated by Times film writers Rebecca Keegan and Mark Olsen.
“L.A. Times” — For this year’s awards season, The Envelope brought together a unique group of actresses, including rising stars breaking through to the next level and established stars breaking out into new roles and challenges, each earning some buzz for their current films.
Participating in the conversation were Jennifer Aniston from the small, personal drama “Cake” (opening in December); Emily Blunt from the musical “Into the Woods” (opening Christmas Day); Jessica Chastain from the recently released space epic “Interstellar” and the December drama “A Most Violent Year”; Gugu Mbatha-Raw from the historic drama “Belle,” which opened in May; and Shailene Woodley from June’s young adult love story “The Fault in Our Stars.”

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are NOT married, despite the latest made-up OK! cover story. The tabloid has seemingly lied about the couple dozens of times. Among its fabricated stories were ones claiming Aniston and Theroux eloped to Mexico, got married in her agent’s office, and tied the knot at their home. The latest cover story, once again, floats a bogus wedding rumor.
According to the cover of OK!, Aniston and Theroux were “finally married” in a “secret wedding” at a farm in New York, with Aniston taking Theroux’s last name and declaring it “the best day of my life.”
None of these things happened, because OK! made up everything.
The actual story inside the magazine’s pages is not surprisingly another bait-and-switch from the tabloid, which claims the two are actually just talking about supposed “Christmas nuptials,” and directly contradicting the cover. OK! claims Aniston and Theroux are planning a “small, exclusive gathering” somewhere in New York, although the outlet later forgets the whole “farm” thing and starts talking about Manhattan venues.
“It’s really happening!” declares a made-up source for this made-up magazine story. “Jen is excited beyond belief. She says it will be the best day of her life.” What this source doesn’t say is how OK! got all of its other Aniston-Theroux wedding reports terribly wrong in recent years, not to mention their numerous alleged breakups or Aniston’s countless pregnancies.
Jennifer Aniston, believe it or not, hasn’t actually tied the knot with Justin Theroux yet. Yes, it’s been two years since the two got engaged. Yes, rumors abound that the wedding might never happen. Aniston is allegedly unhappy that the engagement has dragged on for months now, while the actor reportedly continues to ignore his fiancee’s pleas to become Mrs. Theroux. A source for Look magazine say Justin might be oblivious to the possibility that the actress is already tired of waiting for the “I do’s” to actually happen.
“Justin may be telling people that he’s happy having a long engagement, but he seems to be ignoring the fact
that [Aniston] may not be. When they got engaged, she would have never imagined that two years down the line they still wouldn’t have made it up the aisle.”
Even friends are getting involved with the whole Jennifer Aniston wedding delay drama. Chelsea Handler, a close friend to Aniston, confessed that she’s already sick of being bombarded with wedding questions on the street, jokingly telling HuffPost Live that she found being friends with Jennifer a “burden”. A few weeks back, Courteney Cox, Jennifer’s Friends co-star who is also happily engaged to singer Johnny McDaid, allegedly gave Theroux some serious advice to “marry her already!”But allegedly for Jennifer Aniston, a wedding must take place this year by hook or by crook! Belfast Telegraph quotes a source for Look, who claims Jennifer has already given Justin an ultimatum of “marry me this year, or forget about it!”
“Jen has given Justin until the end of the year and then she’ll be seriously considering whether they should be together. She’s even told him she would consider a quickie wedding because she knows how much he hates the idea of having a big ceremony.”
However, this might not end well for Jennifer Aniston. Gal pals are allegedly worried that the conditions might actually turn their relationship sour. Fans are also divided about the alleged demands. Some are dying to see Aniston walk down the aisle already, while others want Jennifer to take it slowly but surely. Either way, there isn’t any evidence that suggests a spat between the two celebs, so a wedding before the year ends might not actually be a bad idea.
Jennifer Aniston is one amazing actress. The Friends alum, 45, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, Aug. 27, and reunited with her sit-com costars Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox for a hilarious sketch — but some fans and viewers didn’t even know Aniston was acting.
“Of course, we were acting,” Jimmy Kimmel said of the skit on the following day, Thursday, Aug. 28. “It was acting. Everybody knew it was gonna happen, we rehearsed it backstage, it was scripted out. The idea was that I would force Jennifer into this mini Friends reunion, and she pretended to be annoyed by it.”
In the scene, the late night host played Ross, and tried to coerce the three women into acting out his fan-fiction. Aniston pretended to be annoyed by Kimmel’s request, and walked out on the scene with Kudrow, 51, and Cox, 50.
“For some reason, maybe half, if not more, of the people commenting online seemed to think that was real,” Kimmel explained on Live! after fans took to social media to voice their distress about Aniston’s apparent annoyance. “I’m not kidding. There are thousands of comments.”
Kimmel, 46, went on to read comments from viewers about how the reunion was “awkward,” Aniston seemed “rude,” appeared to have “no fun,” and was “clearly” not acting and visibly upset.
“Well, she was acting — apparently very well, too!” Kimmel marveled. “She should probably get an Emmy for that acting.”
