Right on time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, these starlets discuss a big project in the October issue.
Glamour magazine boasts a superstar-packed cover for their October 2011 issue with Alicia Keys (in a T-shirt by Alexander Wang and J Brand jeans), Jennifer Aniston (in a Splendid tank and Hudson jeans) and Demi Moore (in a 180 by Jean Yu tank and Levi’s jeans). Each star appears fresh-faced while sharing a group hug.
The lovely and talented ladies came together to dish about a new project they’re involved with called Five, a series of short films about women fighting breast cancer. Each cover star directed one of the films, which will be woven together and aired on Lifetime during a two-hour block on October 10 (right on time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month).
Aniston, who’s an executive producer and a big force behind Five, directed Mia, a film about a woman who initially thinks her diagnosis is a death sentence. The group was “intrigued by the challenge of creating short stories that would defy audiences’ expectations of the subject,” said Aniston. “We wanted the balance of drama with humor and irreverence … we wanted stories that were informative without being heavy-handed. Oh, and they needed to be brilliantly written.”
Other stories in the series include the Moore-directed film Charlotte, in which a little girl watches her mother die of breast cancer and becomes determined to help others with the disease. Keys, a new mother to son Egypt, directed Lili, a film about a 35-year-old woman who develops breast cancer and is forced to deal with her relationship with her mother. “After I read the scripts, I felt like this was something important, and I wanted to be a part of it,” the singer told the magazine. “I chose Lili because she’s close to my age and I understood the family dynamic. I had an immediate idea of what I could bring to it.”
In addition to the Five project, the starlets each dish on what’s going on in their personal lives — from relationships, to babies, to dispelling rumors — but we love that they spent most of the conversation promoting this important topic!
“My life needs to be simplified,” Jennifer Aniston announced earlier this year.
And that’s exactly what she did. After selling her palatial Beverly Hills pad for $38 million in June, the 42-year-old actress and her 40-year-old beau Justin Theroux recently moved into a 1,761-square-foot house in the Hollywood Hills.
“They didn’t want to buy a house right away,” an Aniston source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (out now). Instead, the duo decided to rent the fully-furnished space for $17,500 a month.
“One bedroom is the master and the other is currently furnished as a guest room,” an Aniston insider recently told Us. “It is a really romantic house with great views and a warm feeling in every room. If they decide they like it, it’s also for sale.”
The master suite includes vaulted ceilings and French doors, which lead to an ozone pool and spa. The home also features a converted garage that has been turned into a family room, three fireplaces and a hidden garden.
The private $3 million abode is close to Aniston’s favorite hot spot Sunset Tower, as well as fellow celebrities Leonardo DiCaprio, Halle Berry and Ryan Phillippe.
According to Forbes, Jennifer Aniston has a net worth of $110 million. If we were that rich, we’d probably buy ourselves some diamond shoes, an Hermes Birkin bag and Mary-Kate and Ashley’s The Backpack, so the Birkin doesn’t get lonely.
Aniston, on the other hand, decided to be generous with her savings and purchased her boyfriend quite the present: a $12,000 vintage leather jacket once worn by James Dean.
According to Showbizspy, Jen gifted beau Justin Theroux the pricey piece for his 40th birthday. The two have only been dating since May but are moving fast — a source tells Showbizspy, “Their romance is like a real-life fairytale… even if it is cheesy beyond belief.”
Not that Jen can ever look bad, but the relationship has Jen’s style looking better and better. The “Horrible Bosses” star stuck her hands in Hollywood’s legendary Walk of Fame cement in a shiny Valentino frock in July and recently showed her laidback, West Coast style in boyfriend jeans while vacationing in Hawaii.
Now she’s making sure her arm candy is equally stylish with a priceless (well, almost) vintage jacket.

Brad Pitt, who frankly should know better, spent last week trying to persuade Jennifer Aniston to hook up with him in London while she was in the capital with new man Justin Theroux.
Angelina Jolie definitely wasn’t thrilled. ‘Angie can’t believe how foolish Brad can be sometimes,’ reveals our source.
‘She can’t imagine he really thought he’d be able to get away with meeting Jen in London – a city crawling with paparazzi – without anyone seeing. ‘They had an argument about it, but Angie’s exhausted and sick of fighting about Jen.’
While 36-year-old Angelina has told friends she knows there’s nothing going on between Brad, 47, and Jen, 42, she’s bored of trying to get him to see her point of view. ‘Brad says it’s no one else’s business if he’s friends with an ex,’ reveals our insider.
‘But Angie keeps trying to explain how disrespectful it is to their relationship and their children. ‘She knows if the media caught a whiff of Brad within a hundred feet of Jen it’d take the whole circus surrounding them back to the beginning, which she thinks would be hugely damaging for the kids.’

Jennifer is een aantal weken geleden gespot terwijl ze de studie inliep van “Inside the Actors”. Dit schijnt een soort TVshow te zijn waarin diepgaande interviews worden gehouden. The script was hysterical
Well, obviously it was just such a different direction for me to go, and it was pretty clear soon after reading it that it was hysterical. It was really well mapped out and I just loved the character. I just couldn’t believe that I was asked to play her, so I jumped at the chance.
I didn’t really have to prepare
Well, I took it because it was obviously so crazy and out there and not something that I normally get handed. I watched and witnessed enough women in my life that I just sort of understood.
More comfortable in my skin now
I think the older you get, the more comfortable you get in your body and in your skin, and who you are. You have more of a “f*** it” attitude. You are so careful and controlled in your twenties and you are just more aware of your every move. And now I think there’s just more freedom and comfort and none of it really matters as long as you are enjoying yourself and having a really good time. And not hurting other people – that goes without saying.
I played Julia Harris like a guy
I think Horrible Bosses was so much fun because it was about playing a character who is actually male, and I thought of her just like a guy. That’s sort of what made it that much more fun. And I didn’t have any input into my role. I did go to the dentist beforehand (for that famous dentist scene) though, to see how they hold the tools. And then the rest was easy.
John Mayer wants Jennifer Aniston back. (Here we go again!) The Half of My Heart singer allegedly realized that Jen was happy with her new boyfriend, Jason Theroux, and remembered what he was missing.
John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston were a great looking couple and always seemed to have fun together. However, John didn’t appear ready to grow up and be in a committed relationship. The singer, who is known as one of Hollywood’s biggest playboys, loves to date lots of women. (And they love him.)
“John always held out hope that he and Jen would get back together,” a source recently revealed. “When he found out she was hot and heavy with Justin, he flipped out.”
Aniston is one of the most beautiful, talented and fun-loving actresses in Hollywood. Any man would be lucky to have her, yet she’s been so unlucky in love. She seems so genuinely open to finding love that the men in her life may be taking advantage of that.
John Mayer is smoking hot, but he messed up. Perhaps, Justin Theroux will be the one to win over Jennifer Aniston for good. Either way, she and John didn’t seem to fit. He should let it go and let her be happy.
