Er is dan eindelijk een filmposter uit van Jennifers nieuwe film “Wanderlust”, samen met Paul Rudd, die ze nog kende uit haar Friends-tijd.

Je had het misschien al gezien in de gallery. Ik ben bezig met het uploaden van het 10e seizoen van Jennifer als Rachel in Friends. Ik wil heel graag ook deze sectie compleet maken. Het enige wat nog schort zijn een heleboel captures. Seizoen 10 is nu dus helemaal klaar. Bekijk de caps in de gallery via de link hier beneden.

Horrible Bosses is dan eindelijk verkrijgbaar op DVD en BluRay. Ik heb mooie HD captures toegevoegd van de film! Ik heb hem onderhand al twee keer gezien en ook de tweede keer was de film ontzettend geestig. Heb je hem nog niet gezien, zorg dan dat je de dvd ergens vandaan haalt. Tot die tijd kun je op deze site allerlei “Horrible Bosses” spullen vinden. Veel plezier.

Dankzij Mickey heb ik screencaps, stills en posters van Jennifers film uit 1996 “She’s The One” toegevoegd. Bekijk deze via de link hieronder.

Taxichauffeur Mickey Fitzpatrick (Edward Burns) betrapte drie jaar geleden zijn verloofde met een andere man. Sindsdien houdt hij zich een beetje afzijdig en leeft hij rustig door zonder veel te verlangen. Dit tot ongenoegen van zijn broer Francis (Mike McGlone) en hun vader (John Mahoney). Francis heeft zelf fortuin gemaakt op de beurs van Wall Street en is getrouwd met Renee (Jennifer Aniston). Zij is gefrustreerd omdat Francis al tijden niet met haar naar bed gaat en het haar niet lukt hem te verleiden. Dit komt doordat hij een geheime buitenechtelijke affaire heeft met zijn Wall Street-collega Heather (Cameron Diaz). Voor zijn familie houdt hij Heather ook verborgen, want zij is de vrouw waarmee zijn broer verloofd was totdat hij haar met een ander betrapte. Zolang als Francis niet definitief voor haar gekozen heeft, houdt Heather zich niettemin het recht voor om ook het bed te delen met een oudere man waarnaar zij verwijst als ‘Papa’. Dit maakt Francis stikjaloers.

De eerste Nederlandse recensies voor Jennifers film “Horrible Bosses” zijn uit en het leek mij interessant om deze met jullie te delen. De reacties op de film zijn erg positief. Playing out of character for a change, Jennifer Aniston takes on the role of an aggressive and intolerable boss, alongside Colin Farell and Kevin Spacey. Now 42, and in a good place with new love, actor Justin Theroux, Aniston says she had no trouble settling in with an all-male cast on the sets of Horrible Bosses, the new comedy that hit cinemas recently.

The script was hysterical

Well, obviously it was just such a different direction for me to go, and it was pretty clear soon after reading it that it was hysterical. It was really well mapped out and I just loved the character. I just couldn’t believe that I was asked to play her, so I jumped at the chance.

I didn’t really have to prepare

Well, I took it because it was obviously so crazy and out there and not something that I normally get handed. I watched and witnessed enough women in my life that I just sort of understood.

More comfortable in my skin now

I think the older you get, the more comfortable you get in your body and in your skin, and who you are. You have more of a “f*** it” attitude. You are so careful and controlled in your twenties and you are just more aware of your every move. And now I think there’s just more freedom and comfort and none of it really matters as long as you are enjoying yourself and having a really good time. And not hurting other people – that goes without saying.

I played Julia Harris like a guy

I think Horrible Bosses was so much fun because it was about playing a character who is actually male, and I thought of her just like a guy. That’s sort of what made it that much more fun. And I didn’t have any input into my role. I did go to the dentist beforehand (for that famous dentist scene) though, to see how they hold the tools. And then the rest was easy.

Er is meer materiaal van “Horrible Bosses” uitgekomen. Het zijn een aantal captures uit de film, waarin Jennifer haar van een andere kant laat zien dan dat we van haar gewend zijn.

It was a moment in history where Jennifer Aniston took a stand. She was going to be a brunette. And there was nothing anyone could say or do about it.

“We had this wonderful period of time I do call Hair Gate,” says the woman who invented “the Rachel” long ago. “The studio didn’t want me to wear a wig. I was told, ‘No one will know who you are.’ I said, ‘They will know my name from the credits.’ ”

On this particular morning, her hair is that trademark streaky blonde, falling perfectly a few inches past her chin. Hair Gate happened when Aniston did the unthinkable and vowed to go brown in her new film “Horrible Bosses,” where she plays a dentist who sexually harasses her assistant (Charlie Day).

“I’m the one who insisted on the dark hair,” Aniston says. “I was doing a movie right before this and one after that had me looking more like me, and I knew this character had to be different.”

The studio balked at a brown wig with a row of bangs.

“There was just no way I could be saying those words and not look somewhat different,” says Aniston.

When she lost her regular self in the mirror, “I just felt such a freedom,” she insists. But she wasn’t that free. Aniston is happy to clear up a rumor that she does a topless scene in “Horrible Bosses.” The raciest moment is a mostly discreet scene in an open medical jacket with no shirt and bra underneath.

“I have idea where those rumors started, but it’s a good rumor,” Aniston says with a twinkle in her eye. What about the rumor that the secret topless scene will appear in the DVD? “Not true at all,” she says with a giggle. “Where do these things start?”
