I Was “a Gentleman” With Jennifer Aniston

Multi-millionaire Jennifer Aniston didn’t foot the bill when she supped one-on-one with Cougar Town actor Josh Hopkins at West Hollywood’s Madeo Sept. 2.

“I am a Southern gentleman,” Hopkins told reporters at Sunday’s Nautica Malibu Triathalon in Malibu, Calif. “So I had to [pay for dinner.]” (Hopkins hails from Kentucky, where his father Larry Hopkins once served as Congressman.)

But hunky Hopkins, 40, denies that their talked-about meal was romantic. “We are just friends,” he insisted to reporters. “I am not dating anyone…I am single.”

Still, he admitted, “there are worst people to be in a rumor with” than single gal Aniston. And Aniston, 41, makes a great dining companion. “I have other friends I would rather go to dinner with less!” he said, laughing.

In the latest Us Weekly, an observer at Madeo reports that the pair “seemed to enjoy each other’s company” during their meal. “Jen just sat their smiling. She was in a particularly good mood. She was very flirtatious with him.”

Hopkins recently worked with Aniston when she filmed her cameo on his ABC hit, which stars her BFF Courteney Cox. “They work so well together and they are best friends,” he gushed of the former Friends costars. ” I know they were having so much fun that it made it great to watch.”

Jennifer Cougar Town Cameo With Courteney

Jennifer Aniston has confirmed that she will be a guest star on the popular television show, “Cougar Town.” She will be working with Courtney Cox for the first time since they starred together on “Friends.” Aniston was able to take her career to the next level after “Friends,” and now she is going back to television to help an old friend. It is a very kind gesture by Aniston, and the move will definitely boost her ratings.

Aniston will reportedly be playing Cox’s shrink named Bonnie. She will reportedly become too involved in Cox’s life, and the relationship between them will become strained. It will be interesting to see how Aniston’s appearance will affect the ratings of the show.
